All of my life I have connected with God through nature. Childhood walks with my grandfather - through the greenbelt of Iowa - stirred an early spiritual awareness. I realized that the trees, the rivers, the wildlife were his spiritual sanctuary, and soon they became mine. This early connection with nature provided an inner foundation for a healing practice that embraces it.
Lifelong chiropractic care added to that foundation. I grew up with parents and grandparents who sought out chiropractic care before going to a doctor of western medicine. Ear ache? Sore throat? Stomach ache? Menstrual cramps? I visited my uncle the chiropractor for all ailments and first-hand learned the power of natural healing.
My decision to become a practitioner of Chinese medicine was ultimately made when I first experienced acupuncture. I was living and working in Colorado at a natural healthcare clinic. After the session, I was blown away by the feeling it left me with. My ailment was gone and I felt like me again. And I knew right then I had to learn the teachings of this ancient practice and ultimately share them with others. So I ventured onto a path of learning that began in Colorado, wound through Minnesota and continues here in Illinois, where I am ecstatic to be practicing.
I am truly grateful for your help in fulfilling my purpose. I invite you to an initial consultation to see if acupuncture, and/or another Chinese medicine, is right for you.
Love, Peace, and Courage,
